Issue 0 - Monopoly Wars - page 1

As explained on the inside front cover, my friends and I used to play a lot of Monopoly. I would guess an average of 2-3 sessions a week, with an average of 2-3 games per session. It was at a time in our lives where none of us had much money to go out and yet we still wanted to get together and swear a lot. Monopoly filled that void for us.

The splash page shows you the regular table setup for one of our games. The bank was always placed on my drafting chair for easy access. If memory serves, I was often the banker and so this chair was placed at my side.

The other chairs are these folding chairs that Rich owned at the time. Please note such attention to detail as the duct tape used to cover a tear across the bottom chair.
