Issue 0 - Monopoly Wars - page 6

At the time, Pete was working on Parliament Hill, hence he was reading "The Hill Times".

Again, my lettering sucks. Look at the "Come in" balloon, it makes me gag.

You may be wondering where I got the idea to incorporate the Monopoly character "Rich Uncle Pennybags" into the storyline. I suppose I got the idea because many people find that we take the game too seriously, that it's not fun when they play with us, etc, etc. And so I wondered if, in fact, we were playing the game in the manner that it was intended or whether the makers of the game would take issue with the way we played. And what better way to illustrate this than to include the game's mascot. Plus, he's super-easy to draw.
