Issue 1 - How I Got Started in Comics - Page 2

First use of the name "Arthur Lane". In my third year of university, Greg, Steve and I shared an apartment at 313 Arthur Lane. Greg and I both agreed it sounded like a cool name and so I decided to use it. I used it again in issue #11 for a different character. I would also use the number "313" in issue #12.

This is also the first time I draw myself wearing a Bubonix t-shirt. The difference in this instance is that the logo on the t-shirt is not the logo on the cover of the issue in question. Instead of having a bomb on the t-shirt, I have a handprint. The handprint would not be used as a cover until issue #24.

At one point, I silk-screened some Bubonix t-shirts with a handprint on them. I felt that my hands were too small to have a proper print, so I got Craig to do the hand part, for which he was paid handsomely.
