Issue 4 - p. 3 - The Boy With the Trapdoor Mouth (cont'd)

A word about cross-hatching: I did more of it in this story than I had done in all the previous issues of Bubonix combined. I was desperate to try a different drawing style for this story so that it would really stand out compared to my earlier issues. This meant that I wanted to explore textures instead of simple blacks and whites. It was a lot of fun (although very time-consuming, I found) to work on one tiny bit of paper for ages to get the cross-hatching just right.
